"IMPORTANCE AND SUNNAHS OF FRIDAY PRAYER"

The Friday prayer (Juma’ah Salat) is very important for Muslims Men as it's obligation in Quran Majeed is mentioned as:

O you who believe (Muslims)! When the call is proclaimed for the Salat (prayer) on friday (Jumu'ah prayer), come to the remembrance of Allah [Jumu'ah religious talk (Khutbah) and Salat (prayer)] and leave off business (and every other thing). That is better for you if you did but know!
( سورة الجمعة , Al-Jumua, Chapter #62, Verse #9)

Importance Of Performing Friday Salaah:

Expiation From The Sins:

Abu Huraira reported: Verily the Messenger of (الله) ALLAH  ( ﺻﻠﯽ الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ ﻋﻠﯿﮧ ﻭﺍٓﻟﮧ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ) said: Five (daily) prayers and from one Friday prayer to the (next) Friday prayer, and from Ramadhan to Ramadhan are expiation for the (sins) committed in between (their intervals) provided one shuns the major sins.
Sahih Muslim - Book 2 - Hadith 449 ,450

Sunnah Of Friday:

1) Making An Ablution:

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: The Prophet said, "Ghusl (taking a bath) on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim reaching the age of puberty."
Sahih Bukhari - Book 1 - Hadith 817

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Umar: ALLAH's (الله) Apostle ( ﺻﻠﯽ الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ ﻋﻠﯿﮧ ﻭﺍٓﻟﮧ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ) said, "Anyone of you attending the Friday (prayers) should take a bath."
Sahih Bukhari - Book 2 - Hadith 2

2) Using Siwak And Perfume:

Narrated Abu Said: I testify that ALLAH's (الله) Apostle said, "The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every male Muslim who has attained the age of puberty and (also) the cleaning of his teeth with Siwak, and the using of perfume if it is available."
Sahih Bukhari - Book 2- Hadith 5

3) Using Hair Oil:

Narrated Salman Al-Farsi: ALLAH's (ﺍﻟﻠﮧ) Apostle ( ﺻﻠﯽ الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ ﻋﻠﯿﮧ ﻭﺍٓﻟﮧ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ) said, "Anyone who takes a bath on Friday and cleans himself as much as he can and puts oil (on his hair) or scents himself.."
Sahih Bukhari- Book 2 - Hadith 33

4)Going To Mosque As Early As possible:

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "When it is a Friday, the angels stand at the gate of the mosque and keep on writing the names of the persons coming to the mosque in succession according to their arrivals. The example of the one who enters the mosque in the earliest hour is that of one offering a camel (in sacrifice). The one coming next is like one offering a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg respectively. When the Imam comes out (for Jumua prayer) they (i.e. angels) fold their papers and listen to the Khutba."

5) Do Not Run For Prayer:

Narrated Abu Huraira:heard ALLAH's (ﺍﻟﻠﮧ) Apostles ( ﺻﻠﯽ الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ ﻋﻠﯿﮧ ﻭﺍٓﻟﮧ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ) saying, "If the prayer is started do not run for it but just walk for it calmly and pray whatever you get, and complete whatever is missed. "
Sahih Bukhari - Book 2 - Hadith 31

6) Do Not Sit On Another Person's Place In Mosque:

Narrated Ibn Juraij: I heard Nazi' saying, "Ibn Umar, said, 'The Prophet forbade that a man should make another man to get up to sit in his place' ". I said to Nafi', 'Is it for Jumua prayer only?' He replied, "For Jumua prayer and any other (prayer)."

7) Do Not Step Over People On Friday:

SahI ibn Muadh ibn Anas Juhanni reported from his father that Allah’s Messenger ( ﺻﻠﯽ الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ ﻋﻠﯿﮧ ﻭﺍٓﻟﮧ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ) said, “One who steps over men’s necks on Friday will be adopted as a bridge to hell.”

8) Remain Silent During The Friday Sermon (Khutbah):

Narrated Abu Huraira:

ALLAH's (ﺍﻟﻠﮧ)  Apostle ( ﺻﻠﯽالله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ ﻋﻠﯿﮧ ﻭﺍٓﻟﮧ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ) said, "When the Imam is delivering the Khutba, and you ask your companion to keep quiet and listen, then no doubt you have done an evil act."

9) Eating Meal And Having A Nap After Prayer:

Narrated Sahl: We never had an afternoon nap nor meals except after offering the Jumua prayer.
Bukhari - Book 2 - Hadith 62

Narrated Sahl: We used to offer the Jumua prayer with the Prophet(pbuh) and then take the afternoon nap.
