✦ Mafhum-e-Hadith: Qabro par baithne se behtar hai ki insan angaro par baith jaye

✦ Abu Huraira radi allahu anhu se rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah SallallahuAlaihi Wasallam ne farmaya agar koi Ek Angaare par baithe aur uske kapde jal jaye aur uski khaal tak pahunche ye behatar hai, us se ki Wo Qabr par baithe.
Sahih Muslim, Vol 2, 2248

✦ Jabir Radi allahu anhu se Rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah SallallahuAlaihi Wasallam ne Qabro ko pukhta karne, aur us par baithne aur us par imaarat (building) banane se mana farmaya hai

 ✦ Abu Marthad al-Ghanawi radi allahhu anhu se rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah  SallallahuAlaihi Wasallam ne farmaya Qabro par na baitho aur na unki taraf namaz padho.

Its Better To Sit On Hot Coals Than To Sit On Graves !!

English Translation:

✦ Abu Huraira Radhi allahu anhu reported The Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said : It is better that one of you should sit on live coals which would burn his clothing and come in contact with his skin than that he should sit on a grave.
[Sahih Muslim, Book 4, Hadith 2119]

✦ Jabir Radi Allahu narrated The Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam forbade that the graves should be plastered or they be used as sitting places , or a building should be built over them.
[Sahih muslim, Book 4, Hadith 2116]

✦ Abu Marthad al-Ghanawi reported The Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said Do not pray facing towards the graves, and do not sit on them. [Sahih Muslim, Book 4, Hadith 2122]

Avoid Sitting on Graves and Invoking dead people as Allah says in the Holy Quran:

Verily you cannot make the dead hear and you can not make the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs and retreat." [Surah an-Naml 27:80]

"The living and the dead are not alike. Allah makes whoever he wishes hear, but you cannot make those in the graves hear." [Surah Fatir 35:22]
