REFRAIN FROM ABUSING FELLOW MUSLIMS THEY MAY BE BETTER THAN YOU IN THE SIGHT OF ALLAH !

It is a bitter reality that Nowadays Islam is divided into Several sects and each sect is an open enemy to the other sect.

Most of the Muslims dont even refrain from abusing the Scholars of this Ummah ! They trangress every limit and abuse fellow Muslims as well as the Scholars.

* "CONSEQUENCES OF ABUSING AND LOOKING DOWN UPON OTHERS" :

~ We should keep in mind that what if the person we are abusing is The Wali of Allah?

~ What will be the Consequences if the Person we are abusing is more greater than us in the Sight of Allah?

* Punishment of Abusing Awliyaa of Allah (The Scholars and other Righteous People may Fall into this category of being Allah's Friends So Be Careful) :

~ Abu Hurairah, radiyallahu ‘anhu, reported that the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, said:

“Allah the Almighty has said: ‘Whosoever acts with enmity towards a closer servant of Mine (wali), I will indeed declare war against him.

(Saheeh Bukhari, Hadith 38)

Do Not Look down upon other fellow Muslims they may be better than you :

~ O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers. (49:11)

* ABUSING FELLOW MUSLIMS IN ISLAM :

~ Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The believer does not taunt others, he does not curse others, he does not use profanity, and he does not abuse others.”

~ Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When two persons indulge in abusing each other, the beginner will be the sinner so long as the oppressed does not transgress the limits."

(Saheeh Muslim, Book 18, Hadith 51)

~ Narrated Ibn 'Umar (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): I heard the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) saying, "Do not revert to disbelief after me by striking (cutting) the necks of one another." Bukhari Vol. 9 : No. 198

~ Narrated 'Abdullah (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Abusing a Muslim is Fusuq (evil doing) and killing him is Kufr (disbelief)." Bukhari Vol. 9 : No. 197

AVOID SPEAKING ILL ABOUT OUR ISLAMIC SCHOLARS NO MATTER FROM WHICH SECT THEY BELONG :

Abusing Scholars and people of Knowledge while they cant listen to us falls under the category of "Backbiting" which is one of the dangerous sins !

Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is the One Who forgives and accepts repentance, Most Merciful” [49:12]

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do you know what gheebah (backbiting) is?” They said, “Allah and His Messenger know best.” He said, “Saying something about your brother that he dislikes.” It was said, “What if what I say about my brother is true?” He said, “If what you say is true then you have backbitten about him, and if it is not true, then you have slandered him.”

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by two graves and said, “They are being punished, but they are not being punished for anything that was difficult to avoid. One of them used to walk about spreading malicious gossip (nameemah), and the other used not to take precautions to avoid getting urine on himself when he urinated.” Then he called for a green branch, which he split in two and planted a piece on each grave, and said, “May their torment be reduced so long as these do not dry out.” [al-Bukhaari, Muslim

Avoid taunting, cursing and abusing others over a matter of sect ! We are all Muslims we need to get divided and we dont know who is greater in Allah's Sight.
